“In 2015 photographer Lane Coder was given after hours access to the Philip Johnson Glass House on behalf of Architectural Digest. The building, constructed over 1948-49, served as the legendary architect’s home in New Canaan Connecticut until he died in 2005 at age 98. It is, rightfully so, one of the most documented and visited modern homes in the world - but there is something about Lane Coder’s nocturnal imagery that sticks with us. It captures the home in it’s most private moments, after the visitors have gone and the gates are closed.”
